EGSA Retreat!

EGSA applied for and was awarded funding through the OSU Office of Student Life Member Development Grant. With these funds and additional support from the department, we organized and hosted a cabin retreat in Killbuck, OH. We were joined by four OSU Entomology alumni for a fireside professional development panel. Panelists shared their experiences with industry vs. academia, work-life balance as a grad student, and optimizing job hunts pre- and post-graduation. Big thanks to our panelists, the OSU Office of Student Life, and the OSU Department of Entomology for making the retreat a success!
